PoE-Sea: Compliance Warant of your WiFi network with Legislation ("Abeille" Law)
To meet French Education requirements, and particularly Primary school, PoE-Tic engineers have developed a device allowing teachers and students to control - from their classroom - powering of WiFi (and LiFi) access points. Called PoE-Sea this innovative system is compatible with existing wireless installations.
- Compliant with 802.3/af et 802.3/at, the PoE-Sea integrates a connected EnOcean wireless and battery-free switch. This advantageous feature makes it possible to install the PoE-Sea anywhere in the classroom, allowing the teacher to easily turn the WiFi on or offrom her/his desk.
The PoE-Sea is compatible with any type of PoE-powered equipment. This universal solution meets the requirements of local authorities to limit electrical radio emissions in schools. In France, the PoE-Sea guarantees compliance with the legislation known as the Abeille Law. Named after MP Laurence Abeille, this law requires that WiFi terminals be cut off at the end of educational activity.
